Travel over the seas of Trochos has become considerably more challenging since the purge. Before ships could sail day and night unerringly thanks to magical beacons and rutters. Now they must rely apon three key instruments to navigate; the chronometer, sundial and optics. Acurate rutters are worth a great deal more than their weight in gold. Often these texts are inscribed in code and hidden away.
